What this site is, what it is not, and where affiliate links appear.

This page sets out what WebCresto is and is not, so you can judge how much weight to put on anything you read here.
General information only#
Everything on this site is general educational information. It is written for a broad audience and cannot account for your specific circumstances — your business, your budget, your legal obligations or your technical setup.
Nothing here is professional advice. Specifically, this site does not provide:
- Legal advice. Guides may mention terms of service, data protection or copyright. That is general context, not legal guidance. Speak to a qualified lawyer.
- Financial or tax advice. We discuss software pricing and where money can be saved. That is not financial advice, and it is not a recommendation to spend or invest.
- Medical or mental health advice. Productivity articles sometimes touch on focus, workload and burnout. That is general commentary, not clinical guidance.
- Employment or HR advice. Articles about workplace tools do not address employment law, which varies enormously by country.
If a decision has real consequences, talk to someone qualified who knows your situation.
Accuracy and dates#
Every article carries a publication date and, where it has been revised, a review date. Those dates matter. The tools we write about change their interfaces, pricing and free tiers regularly — sometimes with no notice.
We check guides periodically and correct them when readers tell us something has changed. Even so, at any given moment some detail on this site is probably out of date. Treat the tool's own official documentation as the authority on how it works today.
No affiliation with the tools we cover#
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the software companies mentioned on this site unless a page explicitly says otherwise. Product names and logos belong to their owners and are used descriptively.
We cannot provide support for third-party tools. If a tool is not working, its own support team is the only place that can help.
Affiliate links#
Some articles may contain affiliate links. If you sign up for a tool through one, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
Three commitments about this:
- Affiliate links are disclosed on the page where they appear.
- Whether a tool pays commission has no bearing on whether it gets recommended, or on what we say about it. Free tools with no affiliate programme are recommended throughout this site, often over paid ones.
- We never recommend something purely because it pays. A site that did would be worthless, and readers work that out quickly.
Advertising#
WebCresto carries advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertisements are selected automatically and are not endorsements. We do not control which ads appear and are not responsible for advertisers' products, services or claims.
If you see an ad on this site that seems misleading or inappropriate, please tell us — we can report it to Google.
Results are not guaranteed#
Guides describe what tools can do and how to use them. They do not promise outcomes. Whether a tool saves you time depends on your work, your habits and how consistently you use it. Where we mention time savings, treat them as illustrative rather than as a forecast for your situation.
AI tools: two specific cautions#
Because of what this site covers, two warnings deserve their own place.
AI tools make things up. Confidently and fluently. Any factual claim, statistic, quotation, citation or piece of code produced by an AI tool needs checking against a real source before you rely on it. This applies no matter how certain the output sounds.
Be careful what you paste in. Information typed into a third-party AI tool leaves your control. Client data, confidential business information, personal data about other people, passwords and unpublished work should not be pasted into tools you have not checked — and whose terms you have not read. Some providers use submitted content to train their models.
External links#
We link to external sites we consider useful. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.
Your responsibility#
You are responsible for how you use the information here, including checking that a tool is appropriate for your circumstances, reading its terms, and complying with any rules that apply to you — including your school's or employer's policies on AI use.
