Corrections, questions and requests — all read by a person.

Last updated

There is a form at the bottom of this page, and it reaches a real inbox. Messages are read within a few working days, and anything that needs a reply gets one.

What we most want to hear#

Corrections. This is genuinely the most valuable thing you can send. If a guide says to click a button that no longer exists, or a tool has changed its free plan, tell us. Include the article name and roughly where you got stuck and we will re-check it. Corrections get made quickly, and the article's review date gets updated.

"This did not work for me." Even without knowing why. If several people get stuck at the same step, that step is badly written and needs rewriting.

Requests for guides. If you searched for something on this site and found nothing, that is useful information. We keep a list.

What we cannot help with#

We want to be straight about this rather than leave you waiting for a reply that will not come.

  • Support for tools we write about. We are not affiliated with any of them. If your account is locked or you have been billed incorrectly, the tool's own support team is the only place that can fix it.
  • Personalised consulting. We cannot review your specific setup, choose your software stack, or advise on your particular business.
  • Legal, financial, medical or tax questions. Nothing on this site is professional advice, and we are not qualified to give it.
  • Guest posts and link exchanges. We do not publish guest articles and we do not sell links. Messages offering either are deleted unread.

Advertising and business enquiries#

Advertising on WebCresto runs through Google AdSense. We do not sell ad placements directly, and we do not accept payment for coverage, reviews or recommendations. Editorial decisions are not for sale, which is the only way the recommendations mean anything.

Privacy and press#

If you want your personal data corrected or deleted — for example a comment you posted — send the request through the form and say what you want removed. Your rights and how we handle data are set out in our privacy policy.

Journalists and researchers are welcome to quote articles with a link back to the original page. If you need something clarified before publishing, ask and we will respond quickly.

How to make a message useful#

You do not have to follow this, but it speeds things up considerably:

  • Name the article, or paste its link.
  • Say which step went wrong.
  • Say what you saw instead of what the guide described.
  • Mention your browser or device if it seems relevant.

Three sentences with those details is worth more than three paragraphs without them.
